Özderici Foundation was founded in 2015 by Besime Özderici and Ali Rıza Özderici in order to continue the projects and charity works they provided for public on education, health and social areas since 1983. Our foundation provides the construction of education institutes, social welfare facilities and prayer institutions and supports them, and also gives higher education scholarship to university students who are successful but in need of financial support.
We construct and continue to support children's nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, high schools, universities, culture and sports facilities, conservatoires, institutes and student dormitories.
We construct and continue to support educational facilities and life centers for disabled young people to help them gain knowledge and skills, and also we construct and continue to support nursing homes for elderly people and patients

He was born in Ürgüp in 1926. He started working when he was a small boy. While he was a primary school student, he bought a bicycle and started renting it to other kids. He ran a grocery and worked as a driver. He started iron mining in private sector in Yahyalı district in 1949. In 2008, he was awarded with "Outstanding Service Award" from Grand National Assembly of Turkey due to the projects and charities he has provided to Turkey.
